T2.2. activity “Threats to coastal and marine biodiversity-Step by step towards an ecosystem-based approach” is tested in marine NATURA 2000 site HR 3000003 Vrsar’s island. The site includes the marine area on the west coast of Istria. Marine NATURA 2000 site HR3000003 Vrsar’s islands is located inside of the protected coastal area, which is, according to Physical Planning Act, 1000 m in the continental belt and 300 m sea belt measured from the coastline. The main issues related to the terrestrial environment according to the National habitat classification (NHC)-CRO. During the terrestrial mapping habitats, 7 habitats types were recorded. - C.3.5.1.5.-Sub-mediterranean and Epimediterranean dry grasslands-Ass.
