Abstract
Spatial distribution of fishing activity for purse seiners - raster - WGS84
In the study area (central Ionian Sea), primary VMS data for purse seine provided by the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine and Island Policy (October 2008 until May 2011) were used to estimate the fishing effort expressed in number of fishing days by gross tonnage (days at sea * GT).
