Abstract
Data set contains data on bathing waters monitoring network in Adriatic area. The EU Bathing Waters Directive requires Member States to monitor bathing places for indicators of microbiological pollution (and other substances) throughout the bathing season which runs from May to September. Present data contain information on bathing waters, locations and names, status of bathing waters for year 2011/2013 according to Directive 76/170/EEC and type of bathing water sampled (Directive 2006/7/EC).

- Vector data have been provided by Shape project partners. "Shape Adriatic Atlas" administrators have harmonized all the data and their attributes in a unique layer covering the entire adriatic coast.
