Abstract

T2.2.-Hr3000003 Vrsarski otoci-Terrestrial habitat
F.3.1.1.1.-Areas of gravel beaches covered with halophytic vegetation (Ass. Euphorbio pineae-Glaucium flavi)

On single beaches there develops the Euphorbio pineae-Glaucietum flavi association, belonging to the class Cakiletea maritimae. The habitats of this community are often found in coves and bays, which prevent the waves from dissipating the loose substrate. The community has several known localities, where its stands cover relatively small surfaces, in the northern and central parts of the Croatian Adriatic
