Abstract

Fishing - Spatial distribution of fishing activity both inshore and offshore - Bottom trawl effort - raster, WGS84

In the study area (around Kephalonia island), primary VMS data for the year 2014 ανδ fishing vessels larger than 12 meters in total length provided by the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine and Island Policy were used to estimate the fishing effort expressed in number of fishing days by gross tonnage (days at sea * GT).
