geonode:Beach_height_closure_2019_Emilia_Romagna_IT_ The Beach closure height (2019), has been processed by AGSS-RER. The analysis concern the entire Emilia-Romagna coastline between the Po di Goro river mouth and Cattolica (the Tavollo river mouth). The classification consider the emerged beach as the sector free from permanent structures, and so the space free for the waves damping. The parameter calculation has been fulfilled along transepts perpendicular to the shoreline and 10 m spaced by the extraction of the inner point height, wich is derived from 2019 DTM model (Lidar dataset acquired from Autorità di Bacino Distrettuale del Fiume Po). Then the classes of height are projected on the shoreline. The layer is expressed in 4 height classes, the other categories in the legend indicate zones where the beach is absent: "Artificial" class is characterized by the presence of harbour/river mouth areas, "Protected" by the influence of defence structures against the beach erosion.
