Abstract
Classification of Emilia-Romagna beaches based on the sand movimentation (nourishment or extraction). The classification is based on data provided by technical services operating on the coast, , which collect information on nourishment or extraction of sand, with reference to the management cells (BD SICELL). Where the beach advance, sometimes the sand is extracted and transferred in areas at risk. Nourishment are also provided by using offshore or land sand deposits . The data has been processed by SGSS-RER
